Students with autism, students with ADD, students who are learning English as a second language, and students who come from a language poor background, will all benefit from engaging, colorful visual aids to help them understand the meaning of new vocabulary and academic content. Students are more likely to retain a new word or concept when they can link the auditory sound of the word with a memorable visual aid. Currently, I do not have access to color printing or lamination. A color printer and lamination will help me create, attractive, memorable visual aides that will support language development across the curriculum. What's more, these tools will last more than a year. After printing in color and laminating, I can create visuals that I can use with students year after year. This means even more students will benefit from this project. Thank you so much for your support. Our students will thrive because of your generosity!
