Technology has become such an important part of children's education. They are using programs such as Khan Academy, ST Math, Google Classroom and many more. When the students have continual access to Chromebooks, their skills with technology become stronger which is beneficial for the future. Many of the programs that my students will be using are programs that will help with math. With these new five Chromebooks with Google Chrome Education licenses, my students will be able to advance in their Math skills. I'm hoping with the access to Chromebooks, my students will become confident in their technology skills, as well as, gain confidence in Math. Having more STEM activities inside the classroom with Chromebooks will help bring math alive in an authentic way! They will get 21st century skills that they will be able to use for a lifetime. The Chromebooks can be used in a center activity or in collaboration activities. Most district are getting 1 to 1 technology and our district is not quite there yet. Starting to bring more technology into our district can help our students stay connected to the ever changing world.
