My students are preschool-age children with special needs diagnoses ranging anywhere from Autism, Muscular Dystrophy, Downs Syndrome, to Sound System Disorder. About one-third of my students will go on to a general education classroom without special education services. Another third will receive some services while attending a general education classroom, and the final third will move into a self-contained classroom. Our Early Childhood Special Education program is part of the public school system and is housed in an elementary building. Our classroom is full of bright-spirited and strong-willed children, who amaze us everyday with what they can do.
