These books will provide a literary connection for their second quarter assignment, which requires learners to argue if humans should build settlements in outer space. If each student can hold a copy of this novel, it will build their confidence as they set out to accomplish literary projects with groups and the whole class. Learners will explore the idea of settling in space through fiction and informational texts. Many students will find this fictional work inspirational while building their arguments in favor or against settling in space.
