As a first year teacher I have been working on building my classroom and getting to know my student demographic. Sometimes it is hard for students to grasp ideas and new information at the same time as other students in their classroom. Research shows that students benefit from small group based teaching by engaging other students and hearing their ideas, by working collaboratively, and by receiving more one on one instruction. I really need a workspace to work with small groups in my classroom. If I were to receive enough donations to buy this table it would really help me create a space and truly benefit the students! Students will be pulled to small groups during class time to focus on areas of growth or be called during our structured learning time.
