After a tooth pulling battle, my classroom was finally gifted with two beautiful iPads. We were all so excited because my students are so engaged and excited by any learning experiences they have with technology. Unfortunately, these iPads came too pretty and fragile to use right away! We need some serious protection for our iPads to be usable in our energetic classroom. My students are unique because they require much more sensory, hands-on experience to have meaningful learning experiences. My students are not the type to learn from paper and pencil worksheets, no matter how fun we try to make them. The best way my students learn is when I find creative ways to MAKE LEARNING FUN, just as all teachers try to do. When we have fun learning experiences planned, my students behavior, attention, and overall mood skyrockets. The day runs much smoother, and my students walk away happier and more equipped to make a life of their own.
