My students are 2nd graders who are returning to the classroom on March 15, 2021. The students are excited about returning to school but filled with a lot of anxiety about their health. We will be in our classroom for all learning and lunchtime( where mask removal is necessary). My wish and mission for the desk shields Covid-19 project is to give students a layer of protection from the virus and lesson their anxiety. This project most likely would save lives, since students could become carriers and transmit the virus to older adults who are not vaccinated and are at risk. I also have students in my class with medical issues who are vulnerable. This project would make a difference in the lives and emotional state of my wonderful students. Please consider helping my students.
