Some of our students come from low income families with very few resources to provide what is needed to continue learning and growing. Some families struggle to provide for their child's basic needs, let alone instructional needs. Many have attention issues and movement can help them stay focused. They all love to read and my class library will not keep them reading until the end of the school year. Many of my students have tested below the expectancy for their age and grade. My goal is to further support my students with some hands-on materials to keep them engaged and interested while they wobble, bounce, or balance.
