My students have a very difficult time remaining seated and attentive. Most of these items will help them figit, wiggle, and bounce in their chair creating a better environment for them to learn. My students require a lot of sensory experiences, movement and a lot of breaks to get them through their learning day. We try and give them appropriate materials (wiggle seats and chair bands) to engage with when seeking out those sensory needs. For example, one of my students loves to play with the classroom light switches and press the buttons on the timer. I believe the VTech Latches and Doors Busy Board, the handheld light switch and the phone/keys will help him/her engage in those sensory seeking activities in a more appropriate and functional way.
