My students are in the Autistic spectrum. It’s difficult for them to sit in a rigid space. These bean bag seats will help with all aspects of instruction. I can create a reading center. A down time area as well. They need a space where they can move around and lay down if necessary. It will divide the room and create a quiet space. My students can learn and read without sensory overload. The students can self regulate and move to the area to decompress when overwhelmed. Giving the student a the ownership of self awareness to remove themselves from over stimulation or just find a place to do their work independently would help with instructional outcomes.
