Students love to do hands on projects in the classroom - it's the best way to learn! Math can sometimes be demanding with the amount of problem solving required. Using white boards to problem solve and show their work would motivate students to learn more. They love writing and erasing on our big white board so I am sure they would be so excited to each have their own. We could use them for not only math but for word study and other activities also. With more engaging materials, students are more likely to love learning and be motivated to learn. White boards would also save a lot of paper!
