I have learned that computers are effective in engaging my students. There are many apps and programs that I have used to effectively engage students. I would like to expand this work from being part of rotating stations to being part of the embedded curriculum. These Chromebooks will allow me to do that. Instead of being looked at as the "fun station," students will be actively engaged throughout the time while still getting choice on how to accomplish their tasks. Gamification has been proven to increase student engagement. I teach math and science for two classes; therefore, this project will reach more students.
