My students can't learn from lectures and PowerPoints. My students need to learn through hands-on activities and play. Also, I want them to be exposed to different careers such as engineering. Most of my students come from low income homes and lack experience outside the classroom. They need to use their creative mind. I think these bins are also engaging. If they can use these bins to make connections then they will be able to retain information quicker. I went to a training and used these stem bins for the first time and I honestly think it's the best thing for my students.
