I am a speech language pathologist working in an elementary school with low funds. I am working to create a library of books, games, and activities to enhance the learning experience of my students with speech, language, and social needs. When working with children of this age group, it is important to add variety and fun into their language learning process because this is what motivates them the most. The most important thing of all, however, is that I am using evidence based intervention to work with these students. The easiest way to ensure that the intervention I do is evidence based, is to use games and activities created by companies specifically for the classroom or for speech-language pathologists. Unfortunately, these games and activities can be very pricey, which is why I am asking for your help on DonorsChoose.org
