I work in the school I studied in and it really puts a fire in me to transfer the love of reading I have to my students. I want to set up book clubs with small groups reading the same book so that there is accountability but less focus on the grade. I want them to talk about their reading so they become more engaged in it. These books I am hoping to provide my kids with are loved among young readers, several I read and loved myself at their age. They will act out skits from their novels, complete writing assignments form their favorite character's point of view, create presentations for recommending the book, and much more.
