The students in our classrooms need repetition of basic reading and math skills. We have found that creating hands on activities and games has been a way to motivate and encourage our students to want to learn. We only have access to a black and white printer, so we have been using our home printers to get the copies that we need. The color printer that we chose will allow our students to have a visual representation that is easier for them to follow. It will allow us to create materials as we need them. Students become more engaged when they can better interpret and understand the material being presented. We believe that having a classroom printer will enable my students to reach their full potential, by allowing them to see their personal work published in the classroom.
