Each week, 59 eager students come to my back table to do guided reading. I tell them that it is the most important time they spend all week. It is during this time that they slowly learn to read and make progress toward fluency. I teach at a Title I school, and we don't have access to unlimited resources. When I came into the classroom, there were a bunch of mismatched, outdated chairs. Right now, many of my students choose to kneel or stand at my back table. I want them to be comfortable so that they can focus on reading. These stools will make our transitions more efficient as well which means more time for reading! Help me provide them with consistent, comfortable seating!
