The seating options I am requesting will give my students the option to feel comfortable while they engage in reading an exciting book. Students will be able to build their stamina and take ownership of​ their reading and learning because of the freedom they have in choosing not only the books they want to read but also where they want to read. Who doesn’t love to curl up and relax with a good book?! This also allows me to utilize all of the space in my room so that students can be separate from each other, causing fewer distractions and disruptions. I know my students will truly benefit from having flexible seating options and become more engaged and independent readers!

About my class
