My students are diagnosed with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and range from 3rd grade to 5th grade. Most of my students haven't been taught to play many board games and may not get the chance to play board games with other peers often. My goal is to provide more inclusion with other peers in their grade to not only teach my kiddos how to play board games, but to create friendships, and learn how to play appropriately with others. In the ASD world, there are kiddos that are left out, bullied, or lack social relationships. It is my goal to break those barriers and create lasting friendships, open eyes to the beauty of ASD, and include these awesome kids in everything possible.
