I learned a lot about my students in the remote environment this past spring. It was difficult for them to stay focused and demonstrate their knowledge in a remote setting. It was challenging to communicate with my younger students in meaningful and familiar ways. This technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and stay focused while learning remotely! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Learning in a remote environment can be a challenge. This is especially challenging with special education students who are also English Language Learners. My students struggle in this environment because they need support throughout the learning process. I am hoping to provide a classroom that can communicate with them clearly, (headphones) in a familiar setting (the drawing board will be my whiteboard from the school), and we can work on papers together as we did in class.
