Both of these series of books will grab my students' attention while teaching them about people and events of the past and the not so long ago. These two series show that English and History can be presented in an entertaining as well as informative manner. My students will be able to gain knowledge as well as improve reading skills without realizing they are working. Writing about characters or events the character survived will improve their writing skills as well. Upon completion of reading each book, we will do further research to improve research skills and knowledge of the subject.

About my class
