I would like to use video equipment to create a student-centered learning environment to allow students to present new content to their classmates. Videos will practice public speaking allowing them more control over their presentation since they know that they can re-record and edit as needed. Finally, we will use student-created videos to share their learning and AVID strategies with the entire school. I truly believe that by adding video recording to my students' classroom experience will create a positive long lasting benefit in their educational career and it will provide them with long lasting memories of their time in the AVID elective class.

About my class
