Our hope is to provide an active learning space to promote self-regulation. Students will use this space to return themselves to the "green zone" in order to return to the classroom and participate fully in their learning environment. Our emotions vary significantly throughout the day. Unlike adults who have life-time experience with regulating these emotions our students rely on routines and supporting adults to get themselves in the right position to access their education. Our goal is to provide a consist and safe space that we can teach our students to use appropriately so they can access these tools when they need help. We want to fill our sensory space with materials that will be consistent and long lasting.

About my class
