This project will allow my students to use what they have learned in math to design a floor plan for their dream house and build a replica of the house. The goal is to show them that math is the one subject that is in their everyday lives. It will also show them that they can build something that they can strive to get someday in their adults lives. All too often my students do not not understand that they can be more than where they come from and this gives the chance to dream and figure out what it would take and how much it will cost for them to obtain that dream.
