This riveting piece of historical fiction will help my students make important cross curricular connections. Landforms, text complexity and historical events! Oh my! All of this while addressing multiple NC state standards for third grade students. The use of imagery while reading will spark interest and develop inquiry among students. This then creates and motivates students to "dig deep" and continue to learn more. Facilitating their desire to learn is a top priority! This piece of text will encourage continuous academic momentum in literacy as well history and science. It will also develop a focused dive among students within our classrooms! We are extremely excited to begin this literary adventure! We appreciate your financial generosity as we work together to provide this piece of text partnered with standards focused instruction.
