This Listening Center will assist in enhancing the literary rich atmosphere that my scholars love and enjoy. I read to my scholars every day and we enjoy spending this time together. With this Listening Center, my scholars who are dominantly auditory learns will have the opportunity to hear and see the words as the narrator reads the book. The Listening Center will be used daily to help scholars become reading/book dragons that read a wide variety of genres and become more than they think they can be. Scholars listening as someone reads while they follow along with a copy of the book, helps develop print awareness, motor skills, word recognition, and more.
