These Osmo kits will help my students learn letters, phonemic awareness/phonics, numbers, shapes, and more in fun, engaging, and collaborative ways that are not present inside of every classroom today. When students are actively engaged in their learning experiences it makes them more concrete and allows for a deeper understanding in almost all scenarios. My students will use the Osmo kits in small groups, pairs, and individually in a center/station throughout the day in multiple subjects to practice skills we are currently working on in class. The Osmo kits will also be used as an intervention piece to supplement and fill in any learning gaps that my students may be challenged with.
