The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory novel will help increase students' reading fluency and comprehension. Students will love to read this silly book aloud and take on the roles as they participate in Readers Theater. It will also encourage students to think outside the box and learn different themes, such as empathy. By donating to this project, you are essentially being part of their learning achievement! With this novel, students will enter a world like no other and expand their own creativity. It is also a great novel to practice partner reading, an effective way of increasing fluency with the help of a peer. My goal with this book is to show teachers and students that you can learn and meet all the standards without having to use the required, sometimes outdated, textbooks.
