Small groups from each class meet with me at the end of each day. These groups play small sided games of soccer for the amount of time aloted by their classroom teachers. We break up into teams and set social and activity goals to improve our community skills. It is important for the kids to understand that soccer teaches us so much more than how to kick or run. We are building relationship, communication and problem solving skills along with a host of others. We break at halftime and at the end of our time together to review our progress towards these goals and to set new ones for the group and each individual.
