Thanks for viewing our project. The items in this project speak for them-self. We are asking for books. Lots and lots of books. Books open doors to new experiences and help us in so many different ways. Yet, most of our current books are old, and not relate-able to the students. We need a broader selection of culturally diverse books that our students can understand and relate to. For that reason you will see books like New kid, The Stars Beneath our Feet, Piecing Me Together, Brown Girl Dreaming, and many many other titles. We also added some classic chapter books like Harry Potter, Where the Red Fern Grows and Because of Winn Dixie. It's so important that students read a variety of literature.
