My students are currently using a drum set from the late 1970s. A brand new drum set will help our beginning and advanced band students sound amazing both in weekly classes and through our performances! My percussion students who play the drum set help our beginning band/string students keep good time and stay together when we perform. In addition, the beginning students think it is really "cool" to see their peers as well as their teacher play with them on the drum set. We hope to continue to make musical connections with all the students who attend our school through musical performances and encourage them to learn to play an instrument when they enter the fourth grade. A good quality Drum Set will help us enhance the over all experience of being in our school music program.
