A focus within the Kindergarten science curriculum centers on engineering and design. The resources that I have requested will increase the students' ability to plan, design, create models, collaborate, alter their design, and test their creations. These materials will open doors for engaging conversations, problem solving, enabling positive interactions between team members, respecting, examining and valuing others' thoughts and ideas. It is amazing to watch a young group of students work together as engineers creating a promising end result. Our students have had the benefit of watching real-life engineers and developers design and build our brand new school campus which we will be moving into January 2020. They have watched the entire process unfold since early last spring. This real-life exposure has been an inspiration to my students.

About my class
