Students with disabilities learn best through hands-on activities. Teaching authentic, real-world, work skills ensures that these students will be ready to get a job after high school. Teaching students with significant disabilities valuable skills will allow them to engage in meaningful experiences in a work setting. Learning how to shred and laminate adds skills that are valuable in a clerical setting. Having our own equipment will allow our job coaches to make sure students can use it safely and efficiently. We will provide shredding and lamination services to the school building so students can practice customer service skills by taking orders for lamination and picking up shredding orders.
