We want to be able to help out as many elementary school robotics teams as we can, and given our limited resources, a teleconference kit is the best solution. Having real-time face to face interactions allows us to see exactly where students need help as if we were actually there next to them. Expand the reach of our students beyond our finger tips! Using these set-ups will allow our students to have real time interactions with the elementary school FLL teams. They will assist the younger teams with problem solving, presentation skills, and mechanical design. Besides our base station, we would have two other self contained kits we can lend out to teams that need them. We currently use texting, email, and phone calls to communicate with the young teams. This sometimes leads to difficulty understanding the problem the students are having. By having this capability, we can better support the young students in our district in their STEM projects and competitions.
