The use of technology is almost a daily activity in our classroom! When our school system was hit with this pandemic, our school was offered a grant that allows each student to have a chromebook. This is necessary in regards to being prepared for in person or virtual learning, knowing our situation can change at any moment. Although, it is incredible that my students will have their own device, my classroom will need to not only store these devices daily, but also charge them. Students will use these chromebooks during reading workshop and math workshop to access differentiated materials via websites like Seesaw, Lexia, and Zearn! Having them charged and ready for the day is vital to their academic routing. This charging station will allow daily learning (in-person or virtual) possible! My students and I will be so grateful of any donation you choose to make toward this project!
