Being a first year teacher can be extremely challenging; especially when you realize you need to sometimes make and design different tools for your students to maximize their learning. I’m all about customizing and personalizing the classroom to tailor students needs. Hands-on tools such as visuals for story time to follow along can help all types of learners. With these tools, we as a classroom will be able to create hands-on resources that can assist with different levels of learners and help them maximize their learning. Not only would these tools help create wonderful resources for our students, but it would make them long lasting and would be easily accessible to be used by students as needed. These resources will also promote the confidence our young learners need to move up to the next level of learning.
