My students learn best through hands on experiences. Being able to experience scientific coding through the use of a robot would be so amazing. They will be able to tie in math skills seeing a purpose in learning math concepts of graphing, measuring, predicting distance, trouble shooting problems, and collaborating with others for a common purpose. They will be provided with skills that could enable a life long career in technology. Tying in a reflective writing piece would enable them to review and build on skills daily. They would see visual progress of their own learning building individual confidence and purpose in learning.
