These items will be used in the play center of a special day class for 3 and 4 year olds with autism. We will learn to build small buildings, tall building and towers as tall as you. We will incorporate language such as, “Give me the yellow block. Put on a green block. Build a house using red blocks.” In addition, we will work on requesting items items using visual supports. For example a child may ask for one blue block. We will learn to share with a friend and use nice hands. Most importantly, we will learn that school and learning is fun.
