Learning math concepts can be challenging for any students, especially, for students who rely heavily on visual learning and have difficulty maintaining focus for extended periods of time. With the use of iPad's and technology, I have seen my students, who demonstrate those struggles as well as others, retain math concepts that they often struggle with. With the use of technology in the classroom, my students can engage in interactive math games and videos to extend their knowledge base. By implementing iPad's in the classroom students can practice key skills such as number recognition, sorting, and addition in a way that doesn't distract other students throughout the day and focus' on their strengths rather than their struggles.
