My students have diverse abilities and needs, and to meet their individual needs and have more teacher-student contact time, we work in SMART Stations. Students are assigned to work in specific groups with differentiated instruction to address deficiencies. The requested Apple iPads with the OtterBox protective cases will allow me to offer an iPad station where students can practice specific skills on a variety of research based, educationally sound programs that can address the student's specific learning needs. The easy access to targeted practice on specific standards, either for remediation or enrichment, that the iPad Station would provide is absolutely invaluable! This is particularly true for our students who don't have this type of access at home. They will also have access to this station before or after school for those who need the extra tablet time.
