I teach students of all learning styles and abilities. My students are active learners, love to engage in hands on projects, and independent practices. The use of devices during classroom instruction has made a big impact on them. My students engage in smart board activities and virtual science labs. However, many students lack the access of technology. Without internet access students are not able to access online course books, online assignments, or participate with school and district resources to explore and engage essential objectives. In result to, many of my students have difficulty completing homework practice due to the lack of resources and supplies. Many of the students who attend my school come for very low-income families. With the lack thereof, most families only have enough to provide the bare necessities, in which do not include internet access or school supplies. Increasing technology in the classroom will allow for my students to engage in activities and prepare them for computerized test.
