Research states that children that are not reading on grade level by the end of third grade most likely will not ever catch up to their peers. With the books and comprehension games I am requesting, I can assure that my students will have various genres of books and activities to make sure they are reading on grade level by the time they exit my 3rd grade classroom. Many of the families I serve live below the poverty level, therefore basic necessities are the priority, which puts education and learning at the bottom of the list. I would like to provide books and comprehension games to these students to help further their education.

About my class
