Students are more engaged when they are having fun. Young readers need the opportunity to see reading as an enjoyable activity because up until they come to our Reading Lab, it hasn't been. We want to start them off right! The Reading Lab is brand new to our school and desperately needs to build its "Brain Game" content. We want to spend one day a week transferring the skills that students have learned into a fun and team building "Brain Game". The games selected for our project will target our youngest readers, in addition to supporting content for some of our older readers that have yet to master foundational skills. Students will bond with each other as well as their reading teachers as they laugh and LEARN!
