We'll work on reading skills by exploring the various titles and genres in this leveled reading library! The word attack and reading fluency skills will connect-with and aid in developing and expanding students' writing skills. The class will enjoy the variety of books in the set and will gain confidence in reading independently and to each other. With increased understanding and retention of new words, their meaning, and correct spelling, students will be well-equipped to write meaningful and interesting sentences and stories. The combination of new literature and comprehension activities will not only improve reading fluency but will allow students to confidently attempt writing their own stories!
