Sewing incorporates math and art, and while sewing, conversations about history and science will come up. It will also give them a sense of community. My students will be able to create quilts, clothes, and other projects. My students need quality materials to be able to make their wildest creations come true. Sewing machines and other essentials will make their projects move quicker and smoother. Sewing is a skill that they can use their entire life which is important for a generation that is so into DIY. It will give them tools to create something they can be proud of over and over.

About my class
