In my classes, I incorporate STEM lessons to help connect science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The use of technology helps bring the world to my students, who might not otherwise be able to see and learn from it. Working at a Title One school makes it difficult for some of my students to use the technology in their home learning. The use of laptops in my classroom will ensure that students are not only using technology for exploration, but also help them become more familiar and comfortable in using technological equipment. This will help prepare them for our more and more digital world. In addition, the use of laptops will introduce them to real world problems and give them a chance to provide solutions for these dilemmas.
