As of Tuesday September 17, 2019, 125 students registered that arrived from the Bahamas following Hurricane Dorian. Our District that set up a Welcome Center in which these students can pick up clothes, toiletries, school supplies, get vaccinations etc. Many of the students have come to our schools with only the clothes on their backs! We are trying to provide these families with the essentials that they need, so that they can pick up and start rebuilding their lives. I'm requesting shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, body butter, shower gel, teas, and eating supplies. Please help turn the tragedy of hurricane Dorian into something positive by showing the students how much we care.
