The Princess Bride is a fun and exciting read that will appeal to all different kinds of students. My male students are dying to read some sword fights and my girls are desperate for a love story. In a class with so many different personalities and interests, I want to read a novel that can speak to each student. My students have a hard time getting excited about reading, and many of them dislike reading altogether. I want to show my students the incredible world that hides within the pages of a book. This can spark a love of reading and inspire them to seek out other novels that transport them into new worlds. Reading is a gift, and I want to give my students that gift.
