My little learners who have the wiggles during reading really connect with the IStation Reading Program on the computer; their reading scores soar! I just need more stations available for them to use! This technology will support the advanced learners to soar above grade level and those that are challenged, to reach their potential. Chromebooks or iPads would be ideal for my classroom. First Graders today are well ahead of where I was in First Grade with their technology awareness and expertise. Their generation learns quickly when the new information is packaged in the technology box. I am impressed with how Sesame Street has been replaced with the U-Tube generation. They navigate the web and help me give my best technology presentations, and they are 5 years old! I learn from them as much as they learn from me, especially in the area of technology.
