As a kindergarten teacher, I have spent hours reading books, modeling science experiments, and creating fun lessons using all the cool materials folks are sharing. We use Zoom, Seesaw, iReady, Learning A-Z, Bloomz. We write stories, go on virtual field trips, and solve math problems. My English Language Learning students are falling further behind. They are using phones and cannot log in and complete the same activities as their classmates who have iPads and computers. They come to Zoom classes each day to connect, work and learn. They need to be able to keep learning when Zoom ends. My district and I will have resources they can use throughout the summer, if they have the Chromebooks they need!
